Fresh produce seasonal highlights – Autumn 2025
As autumn kicks in, you can expect lovely crisp apples and pears; they’re a highlight of the season.
Use them in indulgent and comforting fruit crumbles and pies which are simple and cost effective to make, and are always popular on menus.
The outdoor UK grown rhubarb is half the price of the forced Yorkshire variety and it can provide another winter warming pudding option.
It’s also the season for fresh root vegetables and we’ve got you covered with some fantastic local parsnips, beetroot, potatoes and carrots.
Squashes and pumpkins are plentiful too, and not just for Halloween! Balance out the root veg with autumn-rooted greens such as kale, spinach and tenderstem broccoli.
Soup is a winner with your diners as the weather turns colder. Speak to us about our soup range roducts such as tomatoes and mushrooms. These are two foods we normally have available as a Class2 product,
but they are great for blending down for soups and taking full advantage of the flavours they hold.
